Yep, I have moved, once again – if we have any trades in the works, shoot me an email for my new address. If you have sent anything in the past few days, don’t sweat it, because I’m paying rent at my Bloomington address until August… which stinks.
Now where the hell are my A&G boxes? I don’t want to until next week.
Does anyone have Ryan from Trader Crack’s mailing address? I have some stuff I want to send him, but can’t find it anywhere. If you do, please look me up at my Hotmail account (I’m sure he doesn’t want it broadcast all over the interweb).
They’re officially ordered! I took a bunch of g/u stuff and some Twins autographs over to the card shop and traded them in towards two boxes of A&G. I’m HOPING this will get me the lion’s share of the set, aside from the obvious SPs I’ll be missing out on.
So what I’d like to do is open this up to all of you: all non-Pettitte mini cards will be up for grabs by player/team. I’m setting aside the Cardinals for Kerry from CoC (hoping I pull some sort of St Louis auto for ya), but everything else will be pretty much fair game. I’ll post the minis I pull once I bust my boxes. All doubles will be available, as well.
Thanks to the generosity of Dan from Saints of the Cheap Seats, and a little bit of luck at the card shop, my lists are dwindling down to nothing – which is a beautiful feeling. I hope to have 07 Masterpieces knocked out by the time A&G hits the streets, and maaaaaaaaaybe this year’s Heritage as well, even if that Dustin Pedroia Mayo is proving borderline-impossible to find. Anyway, here’s where the lists stand at the moment:

Also, I’ll be moving at month’s end to St Paul, MN, and will be paying double-rent until August. If we work out a trade, be sure to ask for my new address just so I can get in the habit of typing St Paul, instead of Bloomington. In semi-related news to the move, I am going to dump a bunch of commons at the local card store pretty soon. If anybody wants me to pull aside any teams for them, I’ll gladly do so – I currently have nothing for the Indians or Dodgers, and I’ve set my Reds aside to go to Nachos Grande. Anything else, lemme know, peeps.
Pettitte cards: I’ve been mostly picking up oddball 90s stuff off of Beckett’s Marketplace lately, and winning a few .99 eBay g/u auctions. Thanks to Mario, I’ve also added his 09 Topps and Series II UD cards to the binder, which has pushed me past the 800 different mark. The goal: 1000 different by year end.
Okay, back to not posting for weeks.
With the upcoming releases of A&G, OPC, Topps Chrome and Goodwins, I figured I better put out the call one final time before people (myself included) get all excited about these new sets and put other releases on the backburner. I’ve knocked a very handsome chunk out of these lists thanks to all of you!
